Domestic

Domestic Solar PV

Right now, your roof or with ground mounted Solar PV panels, your garden, could be saving you money and reducing your electricity bills by up to 70%*.

Create clean and renewable energy from daylight – a free and natural resource – by installing our Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels.

*Subject to site survey and system installed.

With electricity prices going through the roof, rampant inflation devaluing your savings by the day and no deposit interest to speak of, our money in the bank is effectively losing purchasing power every month. Add to that that the cost of everything is going up in price at the same time and your money’s purchasing power is effectively losing 20% per year.

Installing a top quality Mers Solar PV system will save you a lot of money on electricity every year for 25+ years and typically will pay for itself, subject to system installed, in around 6.5 years. Not only is installing a Mers Solar PV system the right thing to do for the environment, financially the bottom line is if you can afford it, it’s a no brainer.

As a fully registered Solar PV company, with our own teams of fully registered installers, we can assist you in getting approval for the SEAI solar PV grant, which is a maximum of €2,400 for a 4kw system.

This grant will help you install Solar PV panels in your home to generate renewable electricity. Learn about the grant values and how to apply.

As a fully registered SEAI Solar PV installation company, an SEAI grant of up to €2,400 is available to most people. This will help you install your own free electricity generation MERS Solar PV system. We will assist you in getting preapproved for the grant.

Grant value for solar electricity

* the grant is paid on a pro rata basis e.g. for a 2.5kWp system the grant value would be €1,950

Grant name Value Example
Solar PV grant €900 per kWp up to 2kWp €1800 for 2kWp solar panels
€300 for every additional kWp up to 4kWp Total Solar PV grant capped at €2400 €2100 for 3kWp solar panels €2400 for 4kWp solar panels

Who can apply

All homeowners, including landlords, whose homes were built and occupied before 2021 can apply. This is defined as the date your electricity meter was installed. This is different to other grant measures where the home must be built before 2011.

The process is simple, please fill out the enquiry form below, then our sales team will contact you to have a friendly chat about your unique electricity usage and needs.

Based on this conversation, we will then arrange a free, no obligation site visit, to inspect the existing electrical infrastructure, the roof footprint and orientation. This allows us to design a system specifically for your house, taking into account chimneys, dormer windows, car charger placement etc. Every system is bespoke, designed to suit each individual customer’s needs.

We will then draw up a free, no obligation quotation for your consideration. As the prices for the equipment are going up rapidly, like everything else, our quotation will be valid for two weeks, to give you time to consider it.

When you decide to start getting a real return on your money by generating free electricity at home, we will walk you through getting SEAI grant approval to installation, which all takes a couple of weeks.
